Gladden really caught Jack with that line on Thursday. It was priceless! I still can't believe Gardy let Redmond hit in that situation last night. Had we left those runners on base with Mauer still on the bench it couldn've been the start of a really bad weekend in Detroit. Gardy got lucky, but I hope he plays the percentages a little better next time.

Wow! The bats awoke for one inning, and it was enough to get a W. The hit by Redmond was huge. The Twins really pulled one out of the hat.

Punto actually got on base twice tonight...that hasn't happened since...

Hey,
I was just listening to the AAA team for fun. Mike Venafro struck the lefty out in 3 pitches, inlcluding and over the top KO pitch. Any chance of them giving Venafro a shot. He has 2 saves and a win. He really has pitched well on the farm with the exception of the very first game which they used him for 3 innings in 30 degree temps after not pitching for almost 3 weeks. Either that or we should trade him to fill in our injuries.

Hey back to yesterday was anyone listening to the radio broadcast when Gladden and Morris were talking about beaning. Gladden basically said ...shouldn't throw at the head due to ruining someones career. Morris followed that with...I can't agree with you more...Gladden responds with the statement...he must not have thought Gene Larkin had a career then... It was absolutely classic. Morris backpedaled pretty fast there.
