Patrick Reusse basically ordered me to stay back at the Star Tribune compound in Fort Myers while he handles the coverage of today’s Twins-Marlins throwdown in Jupiter. He’s already offered a couple observations this morning:

“The Twins had a bus problem and arrived at 11:15 a.m. They were scheduled to start BP at 11:20, so they cancelled it and had the players hit out of the cages….
“Lamb expected to play in a couple of days….Baker felt much better this morning. Might pitch by Thursday, either in Twins game or in minor league situation…. Livan Hernandez will start Tuesday…..”

Reusse also sent the starting lineups:

Twins: Gomez-cf; Mauer-c; Cuddyer-rf; Ruiz-1b; Kubel-lf; Harris-2b; Clark-dh; Watkins-3b; and Casilla-ss. Slowey starts, followed by Blackburn, Humber, Neshek and Reyes.

Marlins: De Aza, cf; Andino, 2b; Gonzalez (yes, Luis), dh; Willingham, lf; Cantu (yes, Jorge), 1b; Brett Carroll, rf; Jose Castillo, 3b; Treanor, c; Amezega, ss. Pitcher is Rick VandenHurk.
