Wow, Mr. Daniel1966, simmer down there, Lenny! I don't know who jmarksman, et al. is, but I certainly am curious what they ever did to you! Do you have any links to this terrible smear campaign they orchestrated against a blogger that, chances are, they've never met nor should they give a rat's ass about? And stealing a man's moniker just because you were born in the horse crap year of 1966 (really innovative moniker, by the way) is considered a felony in The Nation -- you'd be justifiably killed for that here.

What do you have to be pissed at anyhow? Your team won one out of its last four...that's a .250 winning percentage.

That's what The Nation gets for magnanimously dropping in to offer congrats on beating an underachieving, five-hundred ball team, I guess.

Why don't you save some of that spunk and funk for when your cute little team fails to improve itself at the trading deadline again this year... take all the beans and bitches and dump them on your cheap-ass owner's doorstep instead of polluting Mr. Neal's -- of whom I am a guest of here (go ahead and ask him if you'd like) -- blog with negativity and animosity. It's downright shameful! The Nation would be deeply offended if we weren't in such high spirits still from all that healthy, effortless sweeping that we did for three straight days!

Anyways, The Nation had a nice, relaxing day off today, making for the perfect opportunity to stop in, shake some hands in Twinkie-town, recruit some of the more notable bloggers here at Uncle La Velle's blog-o-sphere emperium to try out as a card-carrying members of The Nation. I'll be taking my notes and observations back to The Nation's headquarters, making recommendations and offering assessments (Daniel1966, wouldn't hold your breath). I'll bring you the results sometime next week during the All-Star break which, for whatever stupid reason, isn't MLB's best players versus The Nation (I understand that the league's best wouldn't stand a chance against this Dynasty anymore than, say, your team did, but it still would get better ratings considering all of The Nation would be partcipating rather than just three-quarters of them).

With The Nation's backing we'll help you catch those Southsiders... bunch of miscreants, the whole lot of them! Good night Minnesota Faithful, and keep your heads up!

Keeping it Real,
"The Nation"

FYI, Torii Hunter BA .272, HR12, RBI 43. Delmon Young BA .288, HR 3, RBI 35. Not a lot of difference for 10 years and $17.67 MM. Just an observation.

The Rangers just scored 6 runs in three innings to tie the LAA of Anaheim (per John Gordon) at 10 all. Guess who gets to join these fine Texas Thumpers next...our own Chisox. Oughta be a lot of souvenirs. Makes one a Ron Washington fan even more, hey?
