Lavelle, what is the deal with the Twins dominican summer league team? Are they Twins property? Some good numbers on some of the guys but I’m just wondering if it’s more high school level than pro level.

I haven’t read anything about them releasing Monroe. Maybe Everett if they can’t trade him somewhere, but I think they’ll probably hold on to Monroe and continue using him in that lefty pinch hit role. I still say that even if Monroe hasn’t really done it much this year, the fact that he at least used to have the potential to hit the ball is better their alternatives coming off the bench.
