Ben D.

Punto's average last year is well know as is Morneaus.

Since you are quite confident Putno will do worse, why the reluctance to back your bravado?

Morneau was MVP 2 years ago. That is history, NOT a guarantee of anything in the future.

Especially that Kaat was a better pitcher than Ozzie was a hitter

matt like I said before how the heck is Ozzie Smith in the HOF? Maybe beacuse he can do a backflip. Maybe it's because of his hitting (but I highly doubt it). How bout that toothy grin. Yeah that's it, it's his backflips and toothy grin. Poor Bert should have done Backflips up to the pitchers mound and had a fake smile and he sure would have made it in by now

How the heck is Ozzie Smith in the HOF?

Gold Glove Count:
Ozzie Smith - 13
Jim Kaat - 16

And yet Smith is in the HOF and not Kaat. Doesn't really make sense to me either.

Dragon

What was Punto's avg last year over a whole season and what is his career avg? Look those two up and look up Morneau's then you will have your answer as to why people get on Punto. Please post those to numbers in your next post.
