2 yr/8 mil. for Punto???? WTF. Tolbert is better than Punto, and for a fourth of the cost. Wow, just when you think it will not get any worse. It is frustrating enough seeing our front office make idiotic moves, but it's even worse seeing certain fans sticking up for them, and agreeing w/ their moves. Wow!

Yeah Luke, I think the Twins should fill their glaring holes "just to appease fans like me" because clearly this team has no holes, especially now that we have the skipper's lil buddy back as our starting SS!

I agree w/ the majority of us, that it was better not to trade our young pitchers, but a trade is needed. Just how many average players can we trade for an above average player is the question. But, the reality of the situation is that Pohlad is to cheap to even go out and buy a top notch ss, or 3b. He does that, and no one loses our young pitching staff, and we have a better team, and for what 10 million-12 million. I know it's not my millions, but damn sure is my hundreds on the line...

why not just trade for peavy. we were willing to give yohan 20 million. 16 million is a bargan for a better pitcher!

Kay- Someone who makes this post, "Pardon. I should have said, slightly over .500 ball. Whoo-hoo!" calling someone else condescending is funny. Unfortunatly, the 3rd baseman market and ss markets are thin and the Twins aren't going to sign someone to appease fans like you who think no free agent signings mean we are content not winning a world series.
