Figgins is NOT a utility player.
Only Hunter, Garrett Anderson and Vlady had more at-bats or hits than Figgy who also led the Andels with 34 SB. (Torii 2nd on the team with 19 SB)
Figgy is the Angels's regular 3B, although he has the skills to play OF, there is no room for him there.

Hey La Velle, we have a honest to goodness real life BLIZZARD up here on the frozen tundra. How about another update on Twin's news. Bring a little summer warmth to my thoughts. THANK YOU! :)

So I'm guessing if the Reds and Twins were "equal" in the bidding war...Wiggington would likely side with a team offering him his "natural" position.

sploorp - the Angels have Figgins at 3B who is more of a utility guy at this point. that and they can spend money as they please these days (5 years 90 mill for Hunter...) and I just have a hunch is all

The Reds are thinking of him as an OF and he isn't their first choice.

The Twins and Indians obviously want him as a 3rd baseman.

But what do the Angels want him for?
