Francisco Liriano, who is pondering his participation in the World Baseball Classic, threw in the bullpen on Tuesday. If he skips the WBC, he could have consistent face time with Twins pitching coach Rick Anderson as he tries to become a well-rounded pitcher.

Boof Bonser was expected to throw in the bullpen on Wednesday after taking a few days off to let the cortisone shot he took on Thursday to work on the lingering tendinitis in his shoulder. But Twins manager Ron Gardenhire backed off of that today, saying that Bonser will throw in the bullpen when he’s pain-free.

Players I have NOT seen in camp yet: Jason Pridie, Denard Span, Delmon Young, Dustin Martin, Danny Valencia, Alejandro Machado and David Winfree. Position players must report by Friday.
