The Twins have announced that infielder Matt Tolbert has been optioned to Class AAA Rochester. Once catcher Jeff Christy is reassigned to the minor league camp after tomorrow’s game, the Twins 25-man roster will be set.

The Twins announced the move after they - and Joe C. - had cleared out of Bradenton following their game against the Pirates. Joe C. is driving back from Bradenton as I write this. I’m in the Twin Cities after flying back last night. Needless to say, the announcement came at a bad time.

Joe C. will have more on this once he parks it in Fort Myers.
