It’s 12:54, and Tony’s still a Chief

Whew. I’m tired of Chilly and his adoring public. (And to the guy who says Chilly and I should be out “racking” leaves together, I actually am “raking” mine later today. So, Chilly, if you see this, I do have two, um, racks).
Time to move on. After all, the trade deadline is 3 p.m., and we all know how exciting the NFL trade deadline izzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz.Â
For those teams interested in a 32-year-old tight end who would need the rest of the year to learn your offense — and therefore make him 33 years old when he’s of any use to you — the Chiefs reportedly are still shopping future Hall of Famer Tony Gonzalez.
Gonzalez has more touchdowns and yards receiving than any other tight end in NFL history. But he’s in his 12th season, and nobody plays forever. To give up a younger player of value or a draft pick in the top three rounds wouldn’t be wise.
Great tight end. Great career. But unless the Chiefs are giving him away extra cheap, I’d pass.
The Giants, Packers and Bills reportedly are interested.Â

Can I post on this blog?
I guess so. Screw u AV!
LOL. You can’t post the “Be Happy With It, Crybabies” blog and expect the fan base to move on after less than 3 hours, Mark.
Doesn’t work that way…sorry, but you have to be called out on that…it’s insulting to think that we have digested all 6 games of this routine and should “be happy with it”.
Hey, Mark, do me a favor and ask Green Girl what she has against me that she won’t let me post on AV.
I read some of these blogs and i’m almost embarrassed to be asscotiated with other Vikes fans.
It is time to move on; a win is a win. I for one was embarrassed while sitting at the Vikes/Lions game– not about the fact that the game was so close & we barly won, but because of the “fair-weather” fans booing. Sure, they are entitled to their view, but what a distraction to the viking players on the field who were trying to win a game against a Lions team who were sick & tired of losing and trying to turn their luck around. I am a long time Viking fan who relocated in wisconsin because of my job. I hear all kinds of grief from gb fans about how Viking fans give up on their team & laugh at us for being fair weather fans when we lose. yes, the game could have gone better & the coach could be part of the problem, but only part. He is just that, a COACH. Wake up people, firing him during the middle of the season would only cause more problems & less wins. grow up, move on & BELIEVE
