Shakiest division leader? Denver

With Denver still nursing a humiliating 41-7 prime-time loss to the Patriots and now learning that cornerback Champ Bailey will be out 4-6 weeks because of a groin injury, I pose the question: “Which current division leader is least likely to win its division?”
I have to go with the Broncos. They have a great offense, but it doesn’t always show up (see Monday night). QB Jay Cutler has a week to recover, but you have to wonder if that finger will be OK after they bye. And Denver’s already-bad defense is now missing its best player (Bailey) for a month or so.
Put all that with the fact the second-place team in the AFC West – San Diego — is only a game behind and more talented overall, and, well, let’s just say the Chargers might be the 3-4 team that’s most likely to win its division.
The league has one other 3-4 team. The Vikings. They’re also only a game out, but they trail two teams that are more consistent and have better quarterbacks.Â
