As a female sports writer and associate editor of my student newspaper, I especially enjoyed this story. As an employee of the Star Tribune, it makes me smile. Jo's plight makes me realize, all over again, how much women have endured and overcome in terms of societal discrimination. The generations of women in my family each have their own story, and someday I hope to have my own.
