My sympathy to the Schofield family. I grew up with Bryan and attended Marcy Elementary and Marshall Jr/Sr H.S. in the 1960’s and have strong memories of visiting Bryan at his S.E Mpls home.

I deeply regret the need to respond to my nephews posting. He is not in anyway the authorized spokesperson for Dr. William Schofield or His family.
Dr. Schofield passed away on the evening of August 12, 2006 very much at peace with the world. Information about Dr.Schofield’s Memorial service will soon appear in the Star and Tribune.

My name is William F. Bernal. I am Doctor Schofield’s grandson from Miami, Fla. I would like to comment that my grandfather is currently in the hospital (Methodist St.Louis Park) and is in bad shape. Did Dr. Schofield give an analysis of your ink blot interpretation? I think the article nicely lays out the difference between the psychologist and psychiatrist. The preparation Dr. Schofield put into the interview speaks to his love of research and analysis. He obviously chose a career that matches his interest and talents.
