The Guthrie has always been the topping for any theatre adventure I have experienced in the last 44 years. The Guthries were friends of mine; visiting them in their Ireland home several times. Lady Judith always was an exquiste hostess. I thrilled every time I entered the theatre and the first Hamlet will forever be a highlite in my mind. Bless the Guthries.

The Guthrie is an excellent space for concerts. Why not make it a concert hall exclusively? My first memory of the place was when, as a child, my mother took me to see Jose Greco dance flamenco. Over the years I saw Miles Davis, Janis Joplin with Big Brother and the Holding Company, Laura Nyro, Taj Mahal and the Band, among others. It's perfect for concerts!

I enjoyed a few plays at the Guthrie on Vineland, but what sticks in my mind are the concerts: Devo, Leo Kottke, Jean-Luc Ponty. What do you remember most about the theater?
