Twin Cities Angels, the 40-member strong angel investing club, is wrapping up its $2 million inaugural fund that it first launched in 2006.

The company recently added Cardia Access Inc., a company that is developing smaller, more energy efficient ledes for cardiac devices, to an investment portfolio that already includes ReconRobotics Inc., EcoEnvelopes LLC, Vixar, Bard’s Tale Beer Co., PlaCor Inc., and Unity Works Media.

TC Angels is also close to finalizing a deal with Marner Storage Technologies. The Stillwater-based start-up is developing high performance, networked data storage systems that consumer less energy and space.

TC Angels founder John Alexander says the group will make one or two more investments before closing out the fund.
