Funny, last night’s episode of “Entourage” on HBO had a storyline abouttheir “Medillan”movie trailer getting leaked to YouTube (and the benefits of doing so). This morning, YouTube is lighting up with people viewing the first released clip from the upcoming Todd Haynes-directed biopic of Bob Dylan, the one where six different actors play Bob at six different points of his life. That includes Cate Blanchett in the “Don’t Look Back” era (1966), seen here along with David Cross playing Allen Ginsberg.

Of course, seeing Blanchett as Dylan requires a bit of imagination, but not as much as you might think (the b&w photography a la “Don’t Look Back” helps). I love Cross as Ginsberg, too. The other actors who play the Big D in the movie (due Sept. 21) are Richard Gere, Heath Ledger, Christian Bale, Marcus Carl Franklin and Ben Whishaw. I gotta admit, the clip does add to my interest in seeing the movie …although not as much as I want tosee “Medillan.”

How about you?
