It wasn’t as exciting as the “Jersey Boys” musical, but oh, what a voice Frankie Valli still has!

Here’s what Frankie and his new young Valli Boys sang:

1. Dawn (Go Away) 2. Working My Way Back to You 3. Opus 17 (Don’t Worry About Me) 4. Save It for Me 5. Tell It to the Rain 6. I’ve Got You Under My Skin 7. My Eyes Adored You 8. Swearin’ to God 9. Call Me 10. Let It Be Me 11. Spanish Harlem 12. MyGirl/Groovin’ 13. Stay 14. Rag Doll 15. Who Loves You 16. December 1963 (Oh,What a Night) 17. Can’t Take My Eyes Off of You 18. Sherry 19. Walk Like a Man 20. Big Girls Don’t Cry 21. Bye Bye Baby (Baby Goodby) 22. Grease 23. Let’s Hang On (no encore).

What did you think of the show? Did you see “Jersey Boys”? If so, how did it compare to this concert? Please comment here:

I enjoyed the show after I put in earplugs. The only reason they have the sound so extreme is to cover up the singers inability to do there job.

Jon Bream fails to see the bigger picture.
Frankie Valli doesn’t need to dance, or move, or tell Jon Bream a funny story. He doesn’t need the money, he doesn’t need the adulation, he doesn’t need the hassle, and most of all, he doesn’t need a review by some hack in the local –soon to be bankrupt– Corncob Gazette. If you ever used the words “been there - done that”, they apply to Frankie Valli. And I for one am very appreciative of Mr. Valli and the folks at Mystic Lake putting this together. I’ve seen Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons, 7 times in-person and have never been disappointed. I’m amazed at the high standards he sets for himself, his band and singers, technicians and everyone associated with his appearances. HE IS A TRUE LEGEND leaving a long and UNMATCHED LEGACY. And if he performed in a wheelchair someday, I’LL BE THERE. Let us watch and see how Paul McCartney and Barbra Streisand, look, move and MOST IMPORTANTLY SOUND at 74! Or how will Mr. Bream’s little butt-buddy Prince look IF and when he reaches that age? If Mr. Valli got paid based on smiles and toe taps in his audiences, he would be the richest man on the planet. And believe me, he doesn’t long for Jon Bream’s approval. Seeing Jersey Boys is a tease for the REAL DEAL and that is a live performance by Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons. Glad I was there to experience it.
