I’m guessing the next installment of Replacements reissues might be some kind of live collection, which “Inconcerated” indeed should be a part of (”Answering Machine” on that is incredible). If I were them, I’d do a Bob-era and a Slim-era collection, or maybe even a whole boxed set. I think we could do without anything from “The Sh– Hits the Fans,” there’s much better stuff out there.

Wait, there’s more good news. Westerberg’s site says he’s going to issue 49 minutes of music for $.49 this Saturday. Check it out: http://members.aol.com/paulspage/4949.htm

Apparently Paul hasn’t heard that all the cool artists are GIVING AWAY their music these days! That $.49 is really greedy of him.

‘Nowhere Is My Home’ is one of my all time favorite outtakes by the band, too.

travesty #2 would be the omission of “like a rolling pin”, which is a fine caught on tape blackout.
