Dylan elects to rock Northrop

Bob Dylan, the enduring protest singer, is playing at Northrop Auditorium (his debut on the campus he used to attend) on the night of the presidential election. Will wanting to watch/monitor the election returns prevent you from attending the concert?

As for me, I wouldn’t miss Dylan. I can catch up on the elections after 10 p.m., when the polls on the West Coast close. Indications are that the election will be close so we won’t know the results before Dylan takes the stage at 8 p.m. For a change, the East, South and Midwest will not determine this election.

What do you think about going to Dylan on Election Night?

I cannot imagine a more joyful way of celebrating
election evening (meaning I am certain we will
elect Obama) than being immersed in the sounds
of Dylan.

Here in Colorado, we get Metallica on Election night.
