“Chinese Democracy” listening party Tuesday

If you still don’t believe “Chinese Democracy” is finally going to hit stores a week from Sunday — just Best Buy stores, mind you – then you’d have all the more reason to show up to the listening party Best Buy is hosting at the Fine Line on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m. This is one of nine such parties that night around the country: L.A., New York, Chicago, etc. … we’re by far the smallest city, no doubt a benefit of having Best Buy headquartered here. It’s free and open to everyone, but you get “front-of-the-line access” if you pre-order the album via BestBuy.com and print out your receipt. They’ll be giving out T-shirts. No cell phones allowed (nor any recording devices, obviously).
It looks like Best Buy is really banking on this being a big exclusive release for them. Do you think it’s gonna pay off?

It looks like iTunes is also promoting the album. Best Buy must only have exclusivity for the physical album.
