Los Angeles alt-rock station 101.3 FM is promising to debut a new Prince track at 2 p.m. Central Time today. Apparently, Prince’s choice of stations isn’t so unusual: The track reportedly comes from a new album that will be pretty heavy on the rock. Our guy might be leveraging his rave reception at last year’s Coachella fest toward cutlivating a new-ish audience of younger rock fans. That, or he simply wants to get his rocks off.
