As expected, Phish is adding more dates to its three Virginia gigs in March, their first shows in five years (all of which sold out in minutes). They have only announced 10 more shows so far, and two of them are happening not that far from us: June 20-21 at the Alpine Valley Amphitheater in East Troy, Wis. The band’s publicist said she currently doesn’t know of any other dates. No doubt, 10,000 Lakes Fest organizers are trying to snag them for their event in July, but that’s a long shot. Fans should probably go ahead and buy the Alpine Valley tickets, and if they do wind up playing closer, no doubt the Wisconsin tickets won’t be hard to unload (or you can hit them all!). Pre-sale ticket “requests” are going on right now, click here.
