Motley Crue’s Xcel Center set list

All told, it was pretty great showing by the Crue — way better than either of their two Target Center gigs 2005-2006, and almost as fun as the Myth show back in 2006 (hard to beat that!). As I said in the full review, though, they had better sound top-notch if they’re going to play the near-exact same, relatively short set in every city on the tour.
Here’s that set list:
Kickstart My Heart / Wild Side / Shout at the Devil / Saints of Los Angeles / Live Wire / Too Fast for Love w/ On With the Show / Jailhouse Rock / MF of the Year / White Trash Circus / Don’t Go Away Mad / Same ol’ Situation / Primal Scream / Looks That Kill / Girls Girls Girls / Dr. Feelgood ENCORE: Home Sweet Home
Dig our photographer Jeff Wheeler’s gallery from the show (click here).

Motley Crue is my “guilty pleasure.” The personalities of the band members make the cheese tolerable–I mean, who wouldn’t want to corner Tommy Lee at a party? I enjoyed the Xcel set to a point - notwithstanding Vince’s failure to sing half of each song and instead relying on the audience to help him out, not to mention his Jane Fonda Workout aerobic exercise moves on stage. That said, watching Nikki and Tommy and Mick on stage was the fun part–the songs and the pyro (jeez, enough already) were secondary. Since I only paid $30 (minus Ticketbastard charges) for my nosebleed seat, it was worth it. However, I think I coulda had just as much fun for free, on my couch at home re-reading my well-thumbed copy of The Dirt.
I love the Crue, I hope they keep coming back to Minneapolis as long as they are touring, Nikki rocks!!!
