Kathie Molland, a tireless fan and promoter of good music, died Tuesday at age 62. Although she was probably best known as the wife of Badfinger’s Joey Molland (who moved with her from London back to the Twin Cities in 1983), she also was a musician and songwriter. She is survived by Joey and their two sons.

A memorial service will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday at Washburn-McReavey, 1400 Main Street, in Hopkins, her hometown.
