Now going by her birth name Jesse Langseth (big brother Jonny changed it first), the artist formerly known as Jesse Lang will play her first hometown show since getting bounced off “American Idol” at the Fine Line on May 13. Tickets go on sale May 1 for $12. A press-release for the gig calls her a “neo-soul” artist, citing her version of “Tell Me Something Good” on the show as the direction she’s headed. Will those of you who saw Jesse rocking around town pre-”Idol” give the new Ms. Langseth a chance? And what about those of you who saw her first on “Idol,” will you go see her? Do you even know where the Fine Line is?
