One of the most buzzed-about music documentaries of recent years (it went from Sound Unseen to Sundance to its current wide release), “Anvil!: The Story of Anvil” opens this weekend at the Uptown Theater. Lo and behold, the guys at the heart of the movie have been booked to appear in person after the 7:15 p.m. screening Friday, and word is they’re going to play a short set. The Uptown has been hosting live bands before its midnight screenings lately, so it’s a perfect venue. Get your tickets ahead of time.
