Before the concert, promoters told me that the Levon Helm Band was set to play 80 minutes Wednesday night at the Fitzgerald. The group — and capacity crowd — enjoyed itself for 140 minutes.

Here is what they played: 1. Ophelia 2. Same Thing (Willie Dixon) 3. Battle Song 4. Simple Twist of Fate (Bob Dylan)  5. Bye Bye My Love 6. Long Black Veil 7. Got Me a Woman 8. Ashes of Love (Buck Owens) 9. Did You Love Me 10. Deep Elum Blues (Grateful Dead) 11. Great Train Robbery 12. Anna Lee 13. Rag Mama Rag 14. Mardi Gras Day (Dr John) 15. Everybody Loves a Winner (William Bell) 16. Tennessee Jed (Grateful Dead, on Helm’s new Electric Dirt) 17. Heaven’s Pearls (Ollabelle, Amy Helm’s band, also on Electric Dirt) 18. Kingfish (Electric Dirt) 19. I Wish I Knew How (Electric Dirt) 20. The Shape I’m In 21. Chest Fever 22. The Weight  ENCORE 23. Stand By Me 24. Rock n Roll Shoes

Hello Jon. I was at the show and it was great. Thanks for the set list, I wrote it down as well, but wasn’t sure of the song names.

One song you missed though. Remember Larry Campbell’s guitar soloing as a kind of introduction to Chest Fever? That was actually his own version of “The Genetic Method” which was played by Garth Hudson on organ to intro Chest Fever when the Band was still together.
