I’ve yet to catch anything on my actual TV set from MTV2’s “Twin Cities Week” (anyone else?), but I finally found a bunch of clips posted on their website. Click here to see the network’s main piece from Soundset ‘09, prominently featuring P.O.S., Brother Ali and some other guy I’ve vaguely heard of. If this clip doesn’t instill pride in you local music fans for the hip-hop scene here, then it’s time to move or check your pulse. The cotton commercials that play before each clip are pretty amusing, too (remind me to call Zooey Deschanel a sell-out when that She & Him record comes out).
