Bloodshot Records, the cool Chicago alt-country-leaning label, is celebrating its 15th anniversary with a traveling beer-b-que that is coming to Minneapolis on Aug. 23.

The lineup includes the Bottle Rockets, Waco Brothers, Bobby Bare Jr.’s Young Criminals Starvation League and Minnesota’s own Ben Weaver. The place is Cedar Cultural Center. Music starts at 3 p.m. and advance tickets are a mere $5. For more info, www.thecedar.org.

Btw, Bloodshot artists Justin Townes Earle, Wayne Hancock and Scott Biram will not be there; they are doing their own tours.
