I hope I got the song list all correct, what with all the sweat that soaked into and mucked up my note pad. Never mind the heat, though, this was definitely a show that lived up to the hype. The beats especially came off great live, I thought, even better/heavier than on record. Mars’ voice was pretty spot-on from the albums, too. I even thought the  showy prog-rock interlude (”Love Like a Sunset I”) fit in well with the pacing of the 80-minute set. Click here to read my full review. Also, check Bream’s previous post if you’re hoping the band comes here again.

Lisztomania / Long Distance Call / Consolation Prizes / Lasso / Napoleon Says / Funky Square Dance / Rally / Girlfriend / Armistice / Love Like a Sunset Part I & II / Run Run Run / Too Young / Sometimes in the Fall / Rome

fabulous show. definitely eclipsed their past shows in town by quite a big margin imo.

can’t wait for the First Ave show!

god it was hot in there. but as long as I was dancing, it didn’t seem so bad. which is why the “prog-rock interlude” seemed to drag on. at least they kept it to a tight set so we could burst out into the cool-feeling 80 degrees outside. but GREAT SHOW. i think it only sold out after Phoenix was on SNL.

nope.

Phoenix were on SNL long before tickets even went on sale actually.

the show sold out almost exactly a month before the show
