The date hasn’t yet been confirmed by Xcel Center reps or Kanye’s site, but a tour itinerary that’s floating around the web lists an Oct. 13 date at the St. Paul arena with Mr. West and his favorite new no-talent protege, Lady Gaga. West has promised that the recent Rolling Stone “Hot Issue” cover girl (a new low for the mag) will not just be an opening act for the fall outing but will share the stage with him throughout the shows. Even if you like Lady Gaga, it should be hard to get excited by this particular tour compared to last year’s incredible Target Center concert where Kanye masterfully manned the stage all by his lonesome — one of the single greatest one-man/woman shows I’ve ever seen. To come back this way is a major letdown. Regardless, stay tuned for an official announcement and ticket info.
