They could probably play a theater if not Roy Wilkins at this point, but God bless the Arctic Monkeys for sticking with First Ave in their just-announced U.S. tour dates. They’ll be there Sept. 25. Tickets go on sale Friday (7/17) at noon, and obviously they’ll go fast. The Brits’ much-anticipated third album, “Humbug” — co-produced by King of Queens of the Stone Age Josh Homme! — is due out Aug. 25. Click here to hear the first single, “Crying Lightning.”

BTW, that already murmured-about Grizzly Bear gig at First Ave is officially on the books (Sept. 30). Maybe the Current will start playing more than one song from the album by then.
