Hannah Riggs has both EP goals so far tonight, the second coming with 8.4 seconds to play in the first period. She took a centering pass from Kelsey Ketcher and buried a point- blank shot through Cara Gulbronson.

That broke a 1-1 tie. Eden Prairie opened the scoring 8:58 into the game when Riggs scored glove-side over a diving Gulbronson.

Edina got on the board with 3:39 left in the first when a shot by Cara Coughlin appeared to go off an Eagles’ skate and into the net.
