I had to watch the finals from home but Friday night was pure electricity. Pro crowds need booze to muster this type of (innocently) wild enthusiasm. Conversely, I was at the Friday night girls in Feb and the place was cavernous, they need to get to a smaller place to allow some buzz to build in the confines. I won't be returning in '09 as it's almost kind of sad. Why not a Mariucci? A tale of two tourneys, to be sure. I’m with Rand and Jon–awesome.
