I raved throughout the girls’ state basketball tournament about the band from Ada-Borup, a little school in northwest Minnesota. If you want to see and hear for yourself, click here for a YouTube video of the Ada-Borup band.

In this clip they are playing the song “Shine” by Newsboys. The sound isn’t as great as in person, but this gives you an idea of the non-typical music played by this talented band. (The guy leading them is band director Richard Tuttle, who emailed the YouTube link to me.)
