I’m in the boardroom at MSHSL headquarters in Brooklyn Center, where the board of directors will begin their meeting in about 15 minutes.

Topping the agenda are two key items: whether to reduce the number of weights in wrestling and whether to add a mercy rule in football and basketball.

It’s quiet in the offices here this morning, but as always, there are lots of smiling faces on MSHSL staff members.
