During the girls’ state hockey tournament I wrote a column about the Eden Prairie team sending packages to military personnel serving overseas. Among the recipients was Mickey Morris, son of Eden Prairie coach Tim Morris.

Tim sent me an email today with the news that his son will soon be home. His 11-month tour with the U.S. Army in Afghanistan has ended and the Morris family will have a reunion with Mickey this weekend at Fort Riley in Kansas.
