		<description>Nope, no football rankings are out yet. In many sports the polls are done by that sport's coaches, which usually means they get them out quickly. Football polls are done by sports media from around the state, and it takes some time after practice starts for reporters to learn enough about the top teams to do their rankings. I'm not involved in the statewide polls (although I do put together the Strib's Metro Top 10 during the season), so I don't know when we will have football rankings. I would guess they should be released a week or 10 days before the season opens.</description>
