End 3rd: Blaine 21, Cretin-Derham Hall 21

Cretin-Derham Hall’s coaching staff must be pretty good at pregame and halftime motivational talks. The Raiders opened the game with a great drive, then after having trouble for most of the rest of the first half, came out with another impressive drive to begin the second half. Mark Alt hit Sam Karel with a 14-yard TD pass to tie the score at 21, with only three minutes gone in the third quarter. The Raiders put together another drive that chewed up much of the third, but it stalled at midfield and they were forced to punt the ball away.
Blaine’s still having plenty of success on offense themselves, but their longest drive of the quarter stalled near the CDH 30-yard line. James Peterson was stopped on fourth-and-two to end the drive. As the fourth quarter begins, though, the Bengals have the ball back and are moving - but face third-and-8 at the CDH 42.
