Halftime: Houston 42, Ada-Borup 8

Houston has five touchdown drives, in addition to a kickoff return for a touchdown, and here’s the amazing thing - all five drives took less than a minute. Basically, the Hurricanes’ offense consists of giving the ball to RB Kevin Lindh and watching the senior run into the end zone. Occasionally, quarterback Andy Sires will roll out and throw to wideout Brett Benson, as well, and really that’s all Houston needs to do. For example, here’s the Hurricanes’ most recent scoring drive:
- Lindh 30 run
- Benson 25 pass from Sires (Touchdown)
- Drive summary: 2 plays, 55 yards, 0:15 elapsed
The question for the second half: is it possible for a team to be accused of running up the score - without doing anything but running the ball in between the tackles?

To answer your question, no. It just shows that Houston is a good team. Hopefully they will let their 2nd and 3rd string players have some time in the game.
Yikes! It would be nice to let that “running Mercy time” kick in over halftime in this case.
