Greetings (again) from the Metrodome!

We’re back again, for another day of state football semifinals… about eight hours after we last left.  (Somehow, I expected to find Blaine players and fans still strewn about the field this morning.)

The Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley band is belting out an entertaining version of “Smoke on the Water” - they have a rather excitable electric guitar player, who sometimes even manages to play in time with the rest of the band.  (Note: I’m all the way across the field, so I simply may be hearing wrong, too - I don’t want to impugn the honor of the Wolverine Pep Band.)  At any rate, that means we must be almost ready to go here for C-G-B vs. Kittson County Central.

A reminder: you can listen to live audio from all of today’s games.  Go to www.startribune.com/preps and click on the “Listen Live” link.

Because the acoustics are sooo great at the dome and because you are there to comment on the game, not the band-give them a break!

That’s what I mean - I’m sure I’m just hearing wrong, especially since I’m a good 100 yards away.
