Clinton-Graceville-Beardsley has been living on the edge, but so far the Wolverines have kept the high-powered Houston offense out of the end zone. After a C-G-B punt on its initial drive, Houston ventured all the way down inside the Wolverines’ 1-yard line, but the Hurricanes were stymied on a fourth down play to keep the game scoreless. On Houston’s next possession, a fourth down pass attempt was dropped at C-G-B’s five yard line. Another C-G-B punt near the end of the quarter gave Houston the ball back, and the Hurricanes have it now at the 50-yard line as play begins in the second quarter.

Both squads have spirited fans separated by a the wide Metrodome field. Houston folks are in red, while C-G-B’s base is in blue. Hey, it is still November, after all.

Bear with us, too, as we fight through some technical issues (the wireless network at the Dome is completely down, so we are getting creative). Thanks, and remember that live audio of all the Prep Bowl games today and tomorrow is available right here. It’s going to be a long and fun couple of days.
