Mankato West added another score midway through the third quarter and is proving to be the powerhouse that many thought the Scarlets were. Northfield is knocking on the door and might be able to break through for a score early in the fourth quarter. But overall, the Scarlets have a commanding lead entering the fourth quarter and should only need to salt way the final 12 minutes to claim their third state title since 1999.
