The awards keep coming for Shakopee junior volleyball player Ashley Wittman. She was named Star Tribune Metro Player of the Year before leading the Sabers to their second straight Class 3A state championship, and today she was named Gatorade player of the year in Minnesota.

Wittman has made a verbal commitment to play for the Gophers.
