Ooh, a guy can only take so many holiday hams and desserts before he has to get back out to a game. So I’ll see if I can squeeze into the Bethel gym tonight to watch the championship game of the Olive Garden Holiday Tournament. It’s Henry Sibley vs. Eden Prairie in a boys’ basketball tilt.

Also today, David La Vaque is covering the Schwan Cup boys’ hockey tournament.

I’ll be at the Hopkins gym on Wednesday night for the title game of the Dick’s Sporting Goods girls’ hoops tournament, rest up on New Year’s Day and then hit the ground running again on Friday when I head to Rochester for The Clash wrestling tournament. Saturday I’ll be at Target Center for the Gatorade Timberwolves Shootout, a six-game lineup of boys’ basketball contests.
