Kristina King put the Ponies up 1-0 at 6:35 of the first period, taking a pass from Callie Dahl in stride at the blueline and finishing.

But hold on, Lakeville South cut the lead in half on a goal from Mara Post at 10:36. Post let a shot go from 45 feet that hit Stillwater goaltender Marah Sobczak in the glove but skipped by for a goal.
