Some good ones cooking!

Breck has taken a 4-2 lead on Mound Westonka at the end of 2 periods in the Section 2A final on the strength of two goals late in the period. Air Force recruit Joe Rehkamp’s pretty goal broke the 2-2 tie.

Warroad is heading to state for the 20th time. The Warriors knocked off Thief River Falls 3-2, getting a third period goal to break a 2-2 tie. That game just went final.

In Section 6AA, Eden Prairie is leading Minnetonka 1-0 at the end of the first period.

In 3AA, Apple Valley and Cretin-Derham Hall are headed to overtime.

And in 6A, Little Falls got a third-period goal and the Flyers are headed to overtime tied 2-2 with Alexandria.

UPDATE: Little Falls just scored in overtime and the Flyers are headed to the 1A state tournament for the fifth consecutive season. Little Falls is now 28-0 on the season.

UPDATE II: Cretin-Derham Hall scored on a power play midway through the first overtime to take a 2-1 victory over Apple Valley in 3AA. Congrats to the state-bound Raiders.
