Those teams claimed Class 1A state titles Saturday in Stillwater, site of the True Team track and field meets. On Friday night, the Rosemount boys and Mounds View girls won 3A crowns. The 2A competition will be wrapped up this evening.

The Blue Earth girls outscored runner-up Luverne 417 to 375.5. Kate Hassing led Blue Earth with victories in the 200, 400 and triple jump, and Blue Earth also won the 4×100 relay.

St. Croix Lutheran used victories in the 4×100, 4×200 and 4×800 relays to secure the boys’ championship. Aaron Huslebus won the 100 and 200 and Michael Roeller won the long jump for St. Croix Lutheran, which had 454 points. Lanesboro/Fillmore Central placed second with 393.
