Skyler Jackson of Frazee and Cameron Boy of Jordan finished 1-2 in the prelims of the 1A boys’ 100, and both broke the 1A state meet record in the event.

Jackson ran a 10.81 and Boy’s time was 10.85. The previous record was 10.94, set by Isaac Anderson of Blake in 2005 and matched by Jackson last year.

The all-time state record is 10.45 by Champlin Park’s Ibrahim Kabia in 2003.
