The Lake is in a tizzy

An email I received today included this statement:
“You have the Lake people in a tizzy.” It was followed by a smiley-face icon.
A different email (from someone with Lake Conference ties) included these questions:
“How do you know the decision of the Placement Committee? The MSHSL has not released any info to the concerned conferences nor will it in the near future. How did you get the info or is this an educated guess on your part?”
No guessing games here. This is 100 percent rock-solid information. Of course, as I made clear yesterday, the recommendation to place the four Classic Lake schools in the Lake Conference is not a done deal. It needs to be approved by the MSHSL executive committe, the schools and conference will be allowed to file appeals, and the MSHSL board of directors also must approve whatever happens.
But this sure looks like it’s gonna happen…
